Create new Item ledger entries

Hi folk,

I would know if there is a reliable method to block the creation of new movements product in Item Ledger Entry table by Posting date.

Starting Posting Date would be defined by the manager.

The goal is control once month is closed, that no user is allowed to post in the past

Navision allows to inform posting period for each user, but If we set that date here, the user is not allowed to modify old open entries still in stock. What we need is just to allow / lock new entries in ITL accordind to a certain Posting Date.

Catching onInsert event in ILE would be a bad Idea? or even locate all de CDU that post in this ledger?

Thanks!

Carles

which license are you using?

did you ask your partner to download license again from voice (not sure whether you can do it yourself)?

Hi,

If the license is already updated, please restart the NAV instance.

If the error still persists, check the object id is within the range of the licensed object id(s).

RE: "Field Change Does Not Reflect In RTC" NAV 2009 SP1

Hi, i have the exact same situation. I added a bunch of fields to a table, and renamed one field, and also added the fields to a page. Then i imported the objects into the live database, and restarted the NAV service. I have done this many times, but I have never seen this before; when I check the objects in the designer, they are as i would expect, with new fields and so on, but in the client, nothing has changed.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. We have the 2013 license. There is no license for 2013 R2. We can download the license.

This are my settings for the report.

DataItem: Purch. Inv Line

Properties:

GroupTotalFields = No.

TotalFields = Quantity, Amount

Sections:

Purch. Inv. Line, Header

Purch. Inv. Line, GroupFooter

Now how do I sort the TotalField: Amount by descending order?

Check the table 8616 - Config. Package Field.

In that you will see how Microsoft has done this. There is a hidden table call "Field" which has all the field details.

Hi,

I applied the newly download license and restarted the NAV instance. Now the issue is not there. The PO screen opens normally.

Thanks guys.

Error when opening PO's

Hi,

We get an error when opening PO's. The error is "You do not have the following permission on Query Vend. Ledg. Entry Remain. Amt.: Execute". I even tried with a user with Super permission but the same error occurs.

I saw a post where a use had copied the query to the 50000 range and modified all places where the query was used. I do not want to do this.

Is there a cleaner way to resolve this?

Thanks and Regards

Amal

Can we access the table definition ?

Hello Everyone,

After a long time. :)

I want to know is there a way that I can get the columns of a table. Is there a hidden table in NAV which save all the columns of current tables?

What my actual requirement is, I have created a table with following fields, Object Type, Object ID, Column ID.

I can take the Object ID from the Object table and depending on the Object ID selected Column ID should get filtered when user drilldown the value. Is there any table or way of doing this?

Thank You.

Hi,

There is no provision to add  group/filter/visible conditions in word layout level as like RDLC. we need to define in Navision level only.
