Hi, I installed NAV 2013 on Windows 8 with Office 2013 on a x64 machine. I was going through the initial setup of NAV 2013.
After the CRONUS demo DB was loaded, I was doing this Walkthrough: Synchronizing Information Between Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, when I came across this prerequisite" http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd338966%28v=nav.70%29.aspx.
On checking this out, I noticed this prerequisite "Outlook integration requires the 32-bit version of Outlook". As my Office 2013 installation was 64-bit, I'm unable to proceed with the walkthrough. Is there any alternate way to complete the integration so that I can complete the walkthrough? Is it necessary to sync the Outlook? Am I following the right tutorial for starters to NAV 2013?
